How it works ?

How it works ?

Participating in the Maple Connect Project is simple. If you know of a Canadian NPO that needs a website, suggest it on our site. Two weeks before each fortnightly cycle, we randomly draw an organization from the list of suggestions. We then contact the selected organization to discuss the project to create their website. Thus, every two months, a new organization benefits from a free website to increase its online visibility.

Selection criteria for the creation of a free website for an NPO

To be eligible for our initiative, the organization must be based in Canada and must not have an existing website.

Selection mode

Two weeks before the start of each cycle, we publish the list of proposed organizations. Then, we proceed to a live draw, via video, to select the organization that we will assist for this period.

For what

What are the benefits of such an initiative

Community involvement

Members of the public can actively participate by suggesting organizations that matter to them. This allows them to directly support causes they value.

An initiative that will help educate the public about nonprofits they may not have known about before. This can help expand the reach and impact of these organizations

Increased visibility

Creating a website can help an organization increase its online visibility, which can attract more volunteers, donors or people in need of their services.

Resource saving

Many nonprofits have limited resources. Getting a website for free can save them valuable resources that they can devote to their primary mission.

Increased ability to serve their community

With a website, organizations can share information, collect donations, recruit volunteers, and provide services online, which can increase their ability to serve their community.

Tailor-made project

The fact that you work directly with the organization selected to create the website means that the site will be tailored to their specific needs.
