WordPress Web Developer (Full-Stack)

Job Description

Prositeweb is looking for a full-Stack WordPress web developer. It is important to remember that this is not the installation and customization of themes or extensions. You must be able to do PHP programming in order to design themes or extensions for clients. Alternatively, you might have to work on existing themes. To better inform you of what you would do on a daily basis, we will detail the necessary skills below. Type of position : Permanent Work schedule: Full time – 37.5 hrs/week

Your main responsibilities as a WordPress Web Developer (Full-Stack)

On a daily basis, you will work on various WordPress development projects. Your tasks could include:

• Design websites using WordPress
• Adjust, expand or improve existing themes
• Make adjustments to sites in order to apply WordPress development best practices
• Occasionally carry out Object Oriented development under PHP 7 or higher.
• Work with APIs as needed to communicate with external platforms
• Carry out tests and validations
• Write documentation for customers
• Offer brief training on how to use the developed site

Training required

To occupy this position, you must have completed college or university training in Computer Science. One should be able to see some knowledge in PHP development.

Experience required

To occupy the position of WordPress Web Developer (Full-Stack), it would be desirable to have at least two years of experience in PHP and WordPress development. Training will be offered to you. However, the basics will allow you to adapt better.

Very essential technical skills

For this position, the skills below are essential to occupy the position.

• Have already worked on the development of WordPress themes and plugins
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript (jQuery)
• Have already worked with GIT
